Angus Lees MacDonald (born 15 October 1992) is an English professional footballer who plays for Torquay United as a defender.
==Career==
MacDonald was born in Winchester, Hampshire. He started his career in the Academy at Reading and spent time on loan at Salisbury City during his scholarship before signing his first professional contract in June 2011.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Transfer news: new signing )〕 In November 2011, MacDonald joined Conference South side Basingstoke Town on loan, making his debut in a 2–1 FA Trophy win over Sutton United.〔(【引用サイトリンク】 publisher=Basingstoke Town F.C )〕 He joined Football League Two side Torquay United on loan until the end of the season in February 2012. He made his professional debut for the Gulls in a 1–0 win over Crawley Town. MacDonald was released by Reading on 24 May 2013 after the club confirmed that his contract would not be renewed.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Contract offers )〕 Following his release he had trials with Yeovil Town, Birmingham City and Leicester City though he did not join any of the clubs on a permanent basis.

MacDonald signed for newly relegated Conference Premier club Torquay United on a one-year contract on 21 July 2014. He made 26 appearances, scoring one goal in his first, permanent, season at the club and earned a further year contract extension.
